RADIKAL!

More than 60 female* artists from 20 countries – the Museum Arnhem, the Saarlandmuseum and the Belvedere, Vienna are jointly presenting a highlight of the 2024/25 art season. Under the title RADICAL! Women Artists* and Modernism 1910 – 1950, the project challenges the notion of modern art as a linear development mainly driven by men. Instead, the exhibition brings female* artists from a wide range of backgrounds into dialogue, opening up new perspectives on the diversity and cross-border dimension of modernism.
